The best and quickest way to assimilate into American culture is to learn the language. Many immigrants are intimidated by large language classes or simply don't have time and money to take a college course. RCC offers an alternative way by providing small classes at convenient times where a teacher is able to give individual instruction. In collaboration with Johnson county Community College, RCC offers English classes for adults. Classes are held at the Russian Community Center at 3773-B W.95th Street every Tuesday and Thursday 6:00pm-8:00 pm. No fees are charged except for the material books. These classes are designed to help all immigrants who have a language barrier despite the status, place of origin, sex, or nationality.
